Navigation for organized road tours

Run group drives where nobody gets lost.

Build your route on a map, share a QR code at the driver’s meeting, and every car follows your exact route with turn-by-turn cue cards — even the scenic way.

The organizer’s problem

Sound familiar?

Route planning eats your week

Building a multi-stop route in a traditional navigation app, exporting it, printing turn sheets, and distributing them — repeated every time something changes.

No way to reach every car

Road closure ahead. Route change. Everyone stop at the next exit. Currently that means phone calls down a chain — and half the group misses it.

Stale route versions

Emailing PDFs, printing route books, hoping everyone got the update. One version gets out of date and suddenly half the group is on last year's route.

Zero visibility on event day

Once the tour starts, you have no idea if all cars are accounted for, if someone is stranded, or if the group has fragmented across three different roads.

How it works

Your route. Their navigation. One platform.

01

Build the route

Create the tour, add days, and build route legs. Add stops and shaping points so the route follows the roads your event intends to drive. Drop points of interest and set up quick messages.

02

Review cue cards

Generate cue cards from the route, then review and adjust the driver-facing instructions before sharing. Edit any card, add landmark callouts, or hide cards that aren't needed.

03

Preview & share

Simulate the route to confirm the driver experience, then share with participants by QR code or link. In the TourCue app, drivers scan the code or tap the link, enter their name, and start navigating. No account required for open events.

04

Drive the tour

Drivers follow the route on the native TourCue app. You broadcast Quick Messages to all participants instantly — road closures, stop changes, safety alerts — and the lead car can drop caution pins.

Built for organizers

Everything the run needs. Nothing it doesn’t.

Route builder with cue cards

Draw your route on a real map. Click to place stops, drag the line onto the exact roads you want — TourCue snaps every point to the right side of the road, and every turn becomes a driver instruction you can review and edit.

QR join — no driver accounts

In the TourCue app, drivers scan a QR code at the driver's meeting, type their name, and go. No accounts, no passwords, nothing to teach.

Quick-message broadcasts

One tap sends “Fuel stop ahead” or “Road closed — hold at the park” to every phone in the group.

Registration & roster (Touring+)

Participants register and pay online; you get a roster with names, vehicles, and emergency contacts instead of a spreadsheet.

Test Drive before the event

Run the whole route as a simulation from your desk — watch the cue cards fire at every turn — then shake it down with a real test drive before you go live.

Multi-day tours with legs

Structure a tour by day, then add one or more driving legs inside each day. Each leg has its own route, cue cards, simulation, and share/QR flow.

Participant experience

Zero friction for drivers

Participants do not need an account or a credit card. They open the organizer-provided link, get the TourCue app, enter their name, and they are on the route. The TourCue driver app is native iOS and Android, purpose-built for in-car navigation. It’s available now on the Apple App Store; the Android app is currently in testing for Google Play, so Android drivers get it through your organizer’s link in the meantime.

  • Native iOS app, purpose-built for in-car navigation — Android in testing
  • Screen stays on during navigation — no interruptions
  • Turn-by-turn cue cards designed for in-car readability
  • No account or personal data required beyond a display name
  • iOS: get it on the Apple App Store. Android: in testing — join via your organizer's link

The whole idea, in one picture

What you build. What they see.

The route you draw is the route they drive — turn-by-turn cue cards, voice guidance, and off-route recovery that always brings them back to your route, never a faster detour.

Straight answers

A tool that knows its place

Everything works today

Route building, cue cards, simulation, QR join, live navigation, broadcasts, registration, and payments all work today on real road tours. We tell you plainly what each plan does — and what TourCue deliberately doesn't do.

Who builds TourCue

TourCue is built by Ascent Information Management, working directly with real car clubs and tour organizers. Questions? info@tourcue.com · support@tourcue.com

Your event, your authority

Routes are organizer-approved — TourCue never reroutes your drivers onto roads you didn't choose and never decides your rules. Drivers are reminded to obey real road conditions over any on-screen instruction.

Questions organizers actually ask

FAQ

How do participants join a tour?+

Participants install the TourCue app, then scan the event QR code or tap the join link shared by the organizer. They enter their name on the join screen and start navigating — no account or pre-registration required for Open QR events.

What happens if a driver misses a turn?+

TourCue detects when a driver strays more than 300 ft from the route, shows an amber Off Route banner with a voice announcement, and draws a dashed orange line on the map showing the way back to the planned route. If the driver can’t turn around safely, a Get Me There button opens the phone’s native Maps app with directions to the next stop. The banner clears automatically when they return within 150 ft.

Does TourCue work without cell service?+

The organizer portal requires an internet connection. The driver app caches downloaded route geometry and cue cards for offline viewing, but live driver positions and broadcast messages require a connection.

What are the paid pricing tiers?+

Car Club ($99/event or $149/yr) supports up to 50 cars. Touring ($199/event or $299/yr) removes the artificial vehicle cap and adds participant registration, roster, confirmation emails, and push notifications. Grand Touring ($299/event or $499/yr) adds a merchandise store. Touring and Grand Touring tiers also charge a $5 platform fee per registered participant. High-volume events may require advance capacity review.

Is the route verified as safe by TourCue?+

No. TourCue does not review or approve routes. Organizers are responsible for verifying that their route is safe, legal, and appropriate for the vehicles and drivers in their event.

Is TourCue free to use?+

Yes, the Cruise tier is permanently free and supports up to 10 cars. Paid tiers (Car Club, Touring, Grand Touring) unlock larger events, registration, roster management, and push notifications.
